Tropical Treehouse

Editorial Description

Featured on the Travel Channel’s ‘Amazing Vacation Homes’, this is glamping with a real twist. Located in the lush hills of Rincon, Puerto Rico, this site has two entirely self-sufficient ‘hooches’ – treehouses built out of bamboo and standing high above the forest floor!

The Sunset Hooch has a 10-foot square master bedroom with a queen size bed, and a separate well equipped kitchenette downstairs with a large cooler, double burner gas stove, and hot and cold running water. A separate ‘hoochette’ contains a private bathroom with flushing toilet and sink, and there is a shower at the base of the treehouse.

Bhudda Hooch is even grander – twice the size of the Sunset Hooch it has 3 levels, with the top level being a penthouse bedroom with amazing views over the Carribean sea and local landscape and a huge skylight! Both hooches are solar powered and are set within a private 12-acre bamboo and hardwood forest.

The local beaches of Rincon are only a few minutes walk away, as well as local shopping, restaurants and Rincon Plaza. The ideal location for glamping – Carribean style!
