New for 2015, this is one of the most unusual glamping tents that we’ve seen in Cornwall or even the whole of the UK. Ideally positioned to catch the evening sun, this round tent with a diameter of over 6 meters has a large clear front panel with a fantastic view both day and night (although there is also a curtain for privacy!).
The kitchen area is well equipped with all the necessary cooking pans, plates, utensils and crockery, and the spacious pitch outside has its own barbeque and picnic bench. The tent also has electric lighting, plug sockets, and a fridge, and the (shared) shower and toilet facilities are in a restored stable block faced with Cornish granite.
On arrival, a welcome back with a proper Cornish cream tea will help you settle in, and a large basket of logs and kindling means that you’ll be sitting around a warm fire in no time. The local area has plenty of attractions, and as the site is located in the middle of the horseshoe shape of St Austell Bay, it’s ideally located for everything.
Trenarren Geodome offers guests the chance to camp in a luxury environment, complete with every creature comfort you require for a cozy and relaxing stay. Trenarren sleeps up to 4 people, with a permanent kingsize bed and 2 single futons. The large clear front panel of Trenarren Dome which has a diameter of over 6 meters provides wonderful views day and night or you can close the curtain for complete privacy. On the colder nights you can fire up the Log burner and even cook off the hot plate, boil the kettle or bake in the oven for the complete outdoor experience.
Unlike most glamping units, the Geodome has a permanent lockable front door. A nearby shower block also has a separate kitchen with washing up facilities, kettle, and microwave. Trenarren has its own electricity supply that runs the fridge and lighting with spare sockets for your convenience. All kitchen equipment is included as well as a spacious dining area. All bed linen is provided.
Trenarren Geodome is situated on East Crinnis Holiday Park which is a quiet, family run site. There is a children's play park on site and also a small fishing lake surrounded by flora and forna. Wifi is available on the main site as well as laundry facilities and an information room.
